We are different than all other housing programs!

When we started the Abode Program because we did not want to be like other houses. Our founder is a Mental Health Therapist and Licensed Alcohol and Drug counselor and saw a big piece missing in traditional sober housing. Far more than half of the residents in sober housing come in with a mental health diagnosis. You can’t blame sober houses for not being equipped to meet clients’ mental health needs. It is not easy to provide services without being a licensed treatment program, but we found a way to make it happen!

Every resident of Hybrid Housing has access to a social worker and licensed counselor. Many clients can use their insurance if they are in-network with our partner program, Hybrid Counseling. For those uninsured or out of network, we provide a level of services free of charge!

When clients enter the program, they meet with a social worker to ensure all their basic needs are met. This includes medical, mental health services, financial needs, and any other social services at their disposal. Next, clients have access to a licensed mental health practitioner that can do full-on mental health services, including diagnostics and general mental health and addiction support.

Again all these services are covered by insurance or at no cost to residents!
